Gallagher Re, the global reinsurance broking and advisory business of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., has announced the appointment of Luc Morement as Managing Director, Facultative, APAC.
Morement brings extensive regional experience in facultative reinsurance and a strong track record of working with clients and market partners across Asia-Pacific.
In his new position, the executive will lead Gallagher Re’s Facultative business across APAC, working closely with the company’s Facultative leaders in the region to further strengthen the platform and accelerate the firm’s broader global growth.
Morement is joining Gallagher Re from Guy Carpenter (the risk and reinsurance specialist arm of Marsh McLennan), where he spent a significant portion of his career as a senior executive and reinsurance broker.
During his time at Guy Carpenter, he served as Head of GC Fac, Asia Pacific, and was later appointed as Regional Sales Leader, Asia Pacific, where he focused on further developing and growing the company’s strong position in the region.
