Global insurance provider RSA Insurance has appointed Tony Collman as the Property Director in its UK Specialty Lines business, effective immediately. Collman has been leading the Property business on an interim basis since December 2023, after Neil Cryer departed the business.
In his new role, Collman’s remit will include responsibility for leading the Property business on the Risk Managed, Real Estate and Wholesale International front. His duties will also include being responsible for the profitable growth of a strong-performing book with a team of over 50 underwriters.
The UK Specialty Lines is part of Intact’s Global Specialty Lines, which offers integrated global propositions for brokers and customers with more complex international risks and can write business in more than 180 countries.
Collman has over three decades of industry experience and started his career at Guardian Royal Exchange.
He joined RSA in May 2018 as the Underwriting Leader, Global Property and Real Estate. He has held an array of insurance roles in the past from Underwriting Manager, Head of roles to Chief Underwriting Officer.
