Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer AXIS Capital Holdings Limited has announced the appointment of Pauline Morley as Head of E&O in the US, effective immediately.
In her new role, Morley will be in charge of leading the growth and advancement of the AXIS offering in the professional liability market, aligned with the Company’s position as a leading specialty insurer.
The executive will be reporting to John Van Decker, Head of Global Financial Lines, who commented: “Pauline brings extensive E&O expertise in addition to proven leadership skills that are integral to building on our position in the professional liability market.
“She will help shape the direction of our portfolio by deepening our existing broker relationships, pursuing additional sectors for profitable growth, and bolstering our existing underwriting strength.”
As the company continues to target new opportunities and elevate its specialty insurance solutions in the E&O market, Morley is joining AXIS at an important moment, Van Decker noted.
She brings to AXIS over 35 years of professional liability underwriting and leadership experience, having held senior positions at Western World Insurance Group, Travelers, HCC, and USI.
Most recently, Morley served as Senior Vice President, Miscellaneous Professional Liability and Architects & Engineers Liability at Argo Pro.
