Insurance and reinsurance broker McGill and Partners has appointed George Guy as Partner within the firm’s Complex Property, Casualty and Construction team.
Guy joined the organisation in 2019 as an Associate within the firm’s Construction team.
Before he joined McGill and Partners, Guy worked at JLT, where he gained valuable experience in structuring complex placements for commercial, residential and civil engineering construction projects globally.
Throughout his career in the re/insurance sector, Guy has worked on a variety of projects across infrastructure, power generation, residential and commercial for clients around the world.
In a statement, Guy said: “I joined McGill and Partners to be part of an industry defining firm leading a workplace culture.”
Meanwhile, McGill and Partners recently appointed Jack Price-Draper as Partner within its Financial Lines team.
Price-Draper joined McGill and Partners in 2020 as an Associate in its Financial Lines team focusing on cyber, financial institutions, professional indemnity, and management liability.
In addition, McGill and Partners also recently named Samuel Harris, who joined the firm in 2022, as a Partner in its Complex Property and Casualty team.
