Commercial property insurer FM Global has appointed Malcolm C. Roberts, the firm’s current President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as Chair of the company’s Board of Directors.
The appointment is effective immediately, with Roberts succeeding Thomas A. Lawson, former President and CEO of FM Global, who has served as chair since 2018.
Roberts joined FM Global in 1995 as a loss prevention consultant in London after working as a chemical engineer, and has since held a variety of management roles within the company across the globe.
In August 2021, Roberts was named President and elected to the company’s board of directors, he took on the role of CEO on January 1st, 2022.
